Lewis Koumas scores first goal for Wales on Tuesday

Liverpool's Lewis Koumas opened his account for Wales on Tuesday night by scoring a stoppage-time equaliser.

The 20-year-old received his 11th cap for the Dragons when he stepped off the bench for the final half an hour of a friendly with Ghana.

Koumas made it 1-1 in Cardiff with a glancing header from Neco Williams' cross in the 93rd minute.

The forward spent the second half of the 2025-26 season on loan at Hull City, where he appeared 19 times and netted three goals to help them earn promotion to the Premier League.

Earlier on Tuesday, Reds goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili started and completed Georgia's 1-1 draw with Romania in Tbilisi.
