Virgil van Dijk bumped into Jürgen Klopp while away at the World Cup with the Netherlands.
The centre-half took a selfie with the former Liverpool manager, who is at the tournament as an analyst for German television.
Van Dijk made 270 appearances under Klopp's management after arriving from Southampton in January 2018.
Klopp posted the photo of the two on his official Instagram account with the caption 'Look who I met'.
